Our story
Spaces started with a simple idea: the apps people use to stay close should work just as well on an everyday phone and a busy mobile network as they do on the newest device. We wanted one place to chat, call, share a screen, post a moment and keep important files, in the languages people actually speak at home.
Spaces launches first for people in Tanzania, in Kiswahili and English, and is open to everyone aged 13 and older.
What we care about
- People first. Spaces is for talking to friends and family, not for selling attention. There are no third-party ads.
- Privacy you control. Choose your audience, control discovery and delete your account whenever you want.
- Safety. Block and report tools everywhere, automated checks on uploaded media, and content limits by age group.
- Works on real networks. Data settings and a speed test help on slower connections.
